Kia Fest Main Street Blast
Downtown New Port Richey, Florida
4th of July weekend
Founded in 1999
Kia Fest Main Street Blast is downtown New Port Richey's official 4th of July party and fireworks celebration. Hosted by a local Kia auto dealership in conjunction with the New Port Richey Main Street organization, it has been the best place to be in West Pasco County on the weekend on or before the 4th of July since 1999.

New Port Richey's Sims Park is the central location for this hometown style excuse to party and pay tribute to our nation's independence day. Held on the Friday and Saturday before July 4th, there are always lots of food vendors (including a beer garden), arts and craft booths, and a kid's area.

Free concerts are held on both days of the event ... usually classic rock music. The Sims Park amphitheater provides a perfect venue, with plenty of seating area in front of the stage, and room on the grass for folks who bring their own chairs or blankets.

Adding to the fun is a "Friendly Kia Trolley Pull", and a classic car and truck cruise in. Located along the banks of the Pithlachascotee River, the festival also offers Miss Daisy boat tours for a fee. The grand finale on Saturday evening is, of course, a giant fireworks display.Activities & Facilities
